TRAINING FOR ENTREPRENEURSHIP ADVISORS

The training proposed by IDEOS Hub aims to equip and train entrepreneurship advisors, as well as to encourage the adoption of best practices in support organizations in disadvantaged neighbourhoods of Montreal.

The populations targeted by this project are located in Montreal North, Saint-Michel, Parc-Extension and Côte-des-Neiges, neighbourhoods where several support programs for entrepreneurs already exist. The desire of the project partners is to strengthen the capacities of existing organizations to train the entrepreneurs they support.

The project therefore began with the identification and analysis of the needs of the different profiles of entrepreneurship advisors present in the targeted neighbourhoods.

Development of an adapted training program

The project led to the creation of a training program offered to the entrepreneurship advisors of the following organizations: Groupe 3737, Hoodstock and Microcrédit Montréal, Collège de Rosemont and Futurpreneur.

The project is being carried out in partnership with HEC Montréal’s entrePrism incubator and the Mirella and Lino Saputo Foundation, and receives funding from the Ministère de l’Économie et de l’Innovation (MEI).
