
SOCIAL BUSINESS CREATION COMPETITION
Organized by HEC Montréal, Canada, with the support of the Yunus Centre – founded by Nobel Prize winner Prof. Muhammad Yunus – in Bangladesh, Social Business Creation is an international competition and innovative training platform through which participants learn how to use market mechanisms to solve social challenges.
Starting from a social mission idea at the beginning of the competition, participants will learn how to create profitable businesses with high social impacts. In addition to the rich learning experience, participants will have the chance to win several cash prizes, services and scholarships to participate in SBC competition.

IDEOS – CENTRE FOR SOCIAL IMPACT INVITES ALL STUDENTS AND RECENT GRADUATES TO IMMERSE THEMSELVES IN A PROBLEM THAT THEY ARE PASSIONATE ABOUT!
Map the System is a worldwide competition that allows you to demonstrate your understanding of an environmental or social issue that is important to you. Working alone or as part of a team, you will immerse yourself in the ecosystem of a problem and present your analysis and results to the rest of the world.
The winning team from HEC Montréal will be invited to present their work at the Canadian Final and will have the chance to :
- Win one of the two first prizes in the Canadian Final, a $2500 scholarship;
- Win a trip to Oxford in the United Kingdom to present your findings at the World Final, accompanied by teams from around the world;
- Win a scholarship of up to £4,000 and tickets to the Emerge Conference;
- Join the Map the System network and gain access to new learning tools, ideas and resources.
