IDEOS’ social impact accompaniment pathway is offered to entrepreneurs who have been selected in one of the 3 programs of HEC Montréal’s Entrepreneurial Base: EntrePrism incubator, Rémi-Marcoux pathway and National Bank Accelerator.

The entrepreneurs who benefit from our social impact program are at different stages of their company’s development: at the incubation stage (pre-startup/start-up phase) or the acceleration stage (scale-up phase). The social impact pathway is designed for entrepreneurs for whom impact is already at the heart of their mission, as well as for those who have not yet considered how to integrate it into their project. The IDEOS Hub offers adapted support that will enable entrepreneurs to integrate social impact into their project or to develop their social impact strategy.

They have access to more than a dozen specialized workshops, personalized coaching and the opportunity to be part of a network of impact entrepreneurs, coaches and dedicated mentors.

SOCIAL IMPACT ENTREPRENEURSHIP AT HEC MONTRÉAL: FROM INNOVATION TO SCALING

2017

  • Pilot Project #1: Creation and integration of 8 social impact workshops at the entrePrism incubator.

2018

  • Official creation of a Social Impact Pathway for the entrePrism incubator (11 social impact workshops).

2020

  • Pilot Project #2: Integration of social impact workshops for National Bank Accelerator startups.
  • Creation of a partnership with HEC Montreal’s MBA program to pair up with student cohorts.

2021

  • Pilot Project #3: Integration of social impact awareness workshops and personalized coaching into the Rémi-Marcoux pathway.
  • Official creation of Accelerating Social Impact with the National Bank Accelerator and the HEC Montréal MBA program.
  • Beginning of the twinning program between the entrePrism cohort and the MBA students.

2022
